Job summary

Guardian Roofing, Gutters, & Insulation seeks a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our residential roofing sales department. This hands-on leader will drive revenue, coach a high-performing team, and ensure achievement of individual and department goals.

The role combines strategic oversight with field leadership; you will spend time in the field, monitor the sales process, and report to the Wilsonville, OR office with opportunities across Portland metro areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of proven success in sales management with measurable results.
• Knowledge of residential roofing systems including composite, shingle, shake, flat, and torch.
• Experience delivering in-home sales presentations and closing deals.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and manage sales teams with performance management.
• Proficiency with sales/dispatch software and general computer applications.
• Valid driver’s license; able to enter attics and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Motivate, lead, and coach a team of Sales Specialists to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
• Lead weekly sales meetings and conduct 1:1 performance reviews.
• Perform ride-alongs with team members to coach in the field.
• Enhance the in-home sales process through training and role-play.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new team members.
• Encourage financing options to improve close rates.
• Ensure company vehicles are maintained and visible for opportunities.
