Job summary

KC's Improvement & Construction Co., Inc. in Greensboro, NC seeks a Project Manager to take projects from contract to walkthrough, ensuring clients are well cared for throughout. You will lead a tight-knit team, coordinate subcontractors, and manage budgets in a design-build environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in occupied-home remodeling, strong communication, and knowledge of local codes. A company vehicle is provided and you’ll join a firm with four decades of trusted work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential remodeling project management experience.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors across projects.
• Knowledge of NC building codes, permitting, and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Own project execution from pre-construction handoff through punch list and closeout.
• Schedule, coordinate, and hold accountable our subcontractor partners across trades.
• Manage project budgets, change orders, and selections in JobTread.
• Communicate proactively with homeowners, setting expectations and updates.
• Conduct site visits and quality inspections on active projects.
• Collaborate with estimating and office teams to keep budgets and documents current.
• Protect the client experience in occupied homes with clean sites and clear communication.
