West Shore Home is seeking a Carpentry Trainee for paid training in Columbus, OH. This full-time, W2 position starts at 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with a focus on learning residential remodeling and carpentry skills.

You’ll join a team delivering high-quality bathroom, flooring, and window remodels. Responsibilities include loading materials, visiting homes, demo-ing baths, installing components, and ensuring cleanups.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing – or a hunger to learn!
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Must have a valid smart phone or smart device to log into company systems using two-factor authentication

Responsibilities

• Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport
• Demo existing bath/shower and install new tub or pan, wall surround, and update plumbing if needed
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse
