Job summary

West Shore Home is seeking a Construction Trainee to join our Pittsburgh area team in a full-time, paid training role. The position supports residential remodel projects, focusing on baths, flooring, and related installations with a strong emphasis on customer service.

The role requires basic carpentry or remodeling experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to log into company systems on a smartphone. Competitive benefits and a structured training path are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing – or a hunger to learn!
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Must have a valid smartphone to log into company systems using two-factor authentication

Responsibilities

• Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport
• Demo existing bath/shower and install new tub or pan, wall surround, and update plumbing if needed
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse
