Job summary

University of Maryland Medical System Corporation is seeking a Residential/ Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program supervisor to coordinate daily operations of RRP/PRP teams at Harbor City Unlimited. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience substituted on a year-for-year basis up to four years.
• Five years of professional counseling experience in mental health services, including residential or psychiatric rehabilitation.
• Valid Maryland driver’s license may be required; CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily work activities of RRP/PRP staff in accordance with UMMS policies.
• Collaborate with coordinators and staff to ensure high level of coordinated care.
• Ensure respectful, dignified, therapeutic interactions with members; engage with members consistently.
• Oversee timely, ongoing engagement with members and outreach as needed.
• Maintain documentation per procedures and regulatory standards; perform file reviews and QA activities.
• Review Individualized Rehabilitation Plans and submit authorization requests.
• Enforce policies and participate in policy development.
• Attend management meetings and training sessions.
