Job summary

Aspire Health and Community Services in Massachusetts is seeking a Residential Rehab Educator/Counselor to support adults with mental illness in achieving independence and active living. You will assist with goal setting, daily living activities, socialization, and engagement in meaningful activities.

The role includes evening and weekend shifts; compensation is based on experience, with a full-time 40-hour schedule. We foster a compassionate culture focused on growth and support.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; coursework in psychology or human services toward an associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• Prior health and human services experience or related training
• Patience and ability to interact with individuals with disabilities
• Dependability, flexibility, and willingness to help others
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn electronic health record systems
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record; access to a personal vehicle at some sites
• CPR, First Aid and MAP certifications will be required

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with goal setting, daily living activities, socialization, and transportation
• Implement treatment plans to support goal achievement and symptom management
• Help clients develop independence and improve quality of life
• Administer medication as prescribed
• Support clients in engagement in meaningful activities

Education
