Job summary

Key Point Health Services in Glen Burnie, MD is seeking a Residential Rehab Counselor to join the Glen Burnie Residential team. The role involves on-site/off-site services, assessments, case management and documentation, with evening hours and a $21.00/hour pay scale.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in social services, an active Maryland driver's license, and the ability to drive a 15-passenger van. A criminal background check and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services required or year-for-year experience in lieu of education.
• Active Maryland driver’s license (or state of residence) and clean driving history.
• Must pass criminal background check, MVA check, and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must have own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, case management, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, advocacy, and community liaison.
• Complete documentation promptly, including treatment plans and progress notes.
• Monitor medications and educate clients on self-dosing as needed.
• Teach community skills including ADLs as needed.
• Operate 15-passenger vans to transport clients.

Among the programs and services, we provide are Outpatient Mental Health Centers, Adult and Child Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs, School-Based Therapy, Community Outreach, and Residential Services.Who We Need:We are currently screening for qualified candidates to join our waitlist for an upcoming Residential Rehab Counselor to join our Glen Burnie Residential team.Key Responsibilities Include:Staff are responsible for the comprehensive services offered through on-site and off-site programs.
