Job summary

Key Point Health Services Inc in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Residential Rehab Counselor for our city residential team. The full-time role involves on-site service delivery, completing treatment plans, progress notes, and coordinating crisis intervention, advocacy, and community liaison activities with clients.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s in a social service field, a Maryland driver’s license, and pass background checks. You must be willing to drive 15-passenger vans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services or related field is required or one year of experience in lieu of education.
• Valid Maryland driver's license (or state of residence) active for at least 3 years.
• Must pass background checks including criminal, MVA and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Provide case management and psychoeducation to clients and families.
• Engage in crisis intervention and advocacy on behalf of clients.
• Maintain timely documentation: treatment plans and progress notes.
• Educate clients on medications and support self-dosing where applicable.
• Teach community skills including activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.

Among the programs and services, we provide are Outpatient Mental Health Centers, Adult and Child Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs, School-Based Therapy, Community Outreach, and Residential Services.Who We Need:We are currently looking for a Residential Rehab Counselor to join our City Residential team in late October/early November.Key Responsibilities Include:Staff are responsible for the comprehensive services offered through on-site and off-site programs.
