Key Point Health Services is seeking a Residential Rehab Counselor to join our Glen Burnie team. The role focuses on assessment, case management, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, advocacy, and community liaison to support adults with behavioral health needs.

The position is full-time with evening hours, located in Glen Burnie, MD, offering $21.00 per hour and eligibility for our comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, life insurance, and generous PTO.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in a social service is required or year-to-year experience in lieu of education.
• Criminal background check, MVA check, and pre-employment drug screening.
• Must have own vehicle and Maryland driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, provide case management, psycho education, crisis intervention, advocacy, and community liaison for clients.
• Complete treatment plans and progress notes timely and accurately.
• Monitor and educate about medications to support self-dosing.
• Teach community skills including ADLs as needed.
• Must drive 15 passenger vans to transport clients.

Who We Need

We are currently screening for qualified candidates to join our waitlist for an upcoming Residential Rehab Counselor to join our Glen Burnie Residential team.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Staff are responsible for the comprehensive services offered through on-site and off-site programs. This includes assessment, case management, psycho education, crisis intervention, advocacy, and community liaison.
• Staff are also responsible for the timely and accurate completion of all documentation such as treatment plans and progress notes.
• Responsible for medication monitoring and education to support self-dosing of medication.
• Responsible for teaching community skills including ADLs as needed.
• Must drive 15 passenger vans to transport clients.

What You Need

• Bachelor's Degree in a social service and no experience required or year to year experience in lieu of education.
• Valid and active Maryland driver's license (or state of residence)(must be active for at least 3 years).
• Pass a criminal background check, MVA check, and pre-employment drug screening.
• Must have own vehicle.
• Someone who has a passion for working with individuals with a mental illness or a willingness to learn.
