Job summary

Key Point Health Services in Glen Burnie, MD is seeking Weekend Support Staff to join our team. This part-time role supports on-site programs, assists in case management, crisis intervention, and community liaison activities on Saturdays and Sundays from 3:30pm to 12:00am.

The position emphasizes documentation, medication monitoring education for self-dosing, ADL coaching, and coordination with the rehabilitation team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma - no experience required.
• Knowledge of DSM and common diagnoses within RRP programs.
• Ability to advocate and manage cases.
• Excellent writing, interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Sensitivity to culturally diverse populations and maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management, psychoeducation, crisis intervention and advocacy.
• Complete shift logs, incident reports and service notes timely and accurately.
• Medication monitoring and education to support self-dosing of medication.
• Teach community skills including ADLs in individual and group settings.
• Assist Rehabilitation Counselors with transportation between residences and locations.
• Schedule client appointments and coordinate with the treatment team as needed.

This includes case management, psycho education, crisis intervention, advocacy, and community liaison.Timely and accurate completion of all documentation such as shift logs, incident reports, and service notes.Medication monitoring and education to support self-dosing of medication.Teaching community skills including ADLs as needed in both individual and group settings.A Rehab Counselor will assist in the transportation of clients between residences, office, and community locations as needed.Assist the Rehabilitation Counselors and other staff as needed.Maintaining their level of skill by completing the required 20 hours per year of training. In addition, each employee is expected to abide by all safety rules and regulations of the department and facility.Support Staff is responsible for carrying out the mission, philosophy of care and policies of Key Point.
