Job summary

Centre, Inc. in Fargo, ND is hiring a Community Corrections Specialist for part-time or full-time roles in a residential reentry setting.

The position focuses on accountability, safety, and structure while supporting rehabilitation and community reintegration. Responsibilities include signing residents in/out, verifying schedules, monitoring with GPS, conducting breath and urine tests, performing searches, and documenting incidents with meticulous records.

Qualifications

• Some college education focused in Criminal Justice, Social Work, or a related field preferred.
• Preference will be given to candidates who possess at least two years of experience working with criminal justice treatment programs.
• This position also requires effective communication skills, the ability to pay attention to detail, and proficiency in the use of computers, including use of the internet and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Signing residents in and out of the facility and verifying approved movements.
• Confirming employment schedules and other approved activities.
• Monitoring resident accountability through GPS systems and other tracking tools.
• Conducting breath tests, urinalysis testing, and other compliance checks.
• Performing pat searches, room searches, and vehicle searches.
• Completing incident reports and documenting resident activity.

Education

Some college education in Criminal Justice or related field

Two years experience in criminal justice programs
