Job summary

Riverbend seeks a Recovery Specialist to support program operations and resident care within a residential treatment setting. The role focuses on safety, recovery orientation, and daily activity coordination alongside program staff.

Responsibilities include supervising residents, assisting with daily schedules, providing crisis support, and maintaining accurate logs and documentation in the EHR system.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of experience in addiction recovery services, behavioral health, or related field.
• CPR certification required or obtainable during employment.
• Ability to support residents and maintain professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor health, safety, and well-being of program residents.
• Promote and support residents in their recovery journey.
• Assist residents with daily schedules and program expectations.
• Provide crisis intervention and support for resident and programmatic issues.
• Complete daily monitoring and communication logs.
• Maintain staffing ratios and assist with daily operational tasks.
• Cooperate with clinical staff to ensure effective program operations.
• Observe medication policies and assist with counts and documentation.
• Utilize EHR for required documentation and reporting.
