Job summary

Waste Pro is hiring Residential Rear Load Drivers to operate refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned residential routes. CDL is required; incumbents supervise helpers, conduct pre/post-trip inspections, and ensure proper disposal at landfills or transfer stations.

Drivers must maintain a clean driving record, follow DOT rules, and provide courteous service to residents while documenting routes and reports.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A or B CDL valid for the state of operation
• Clean driving record required
• Must be at least 21 years old or older
• Understand refuse collection policies and DOT/state requirements
• Ability to communicate in English (reading and speaking) and follow written instructions
• Maintain written records and service reports
• Drives and operates refuse trucks per safety guidelines and routes

Responsibilities

• Safely operate residential refuse trucks on pre-assigned routes.
• Oversee helpers and ensure proper collection and disposal at landfills or transfer stations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and required DVIRs.
• Maintain cleanliness of the truck and perform routine maintenance checks.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service to residents and businesses.
