Job summary

Roberts Markel Weinberg Butler Hailey PC (RMWBH) seeks a Texas-licensed attorney to join our Houston Real Estate Section with 2–5 years of substantive real estate experience, including master planned communities and related development work.

The ideal candidate will manage sophisticated development matters with independence, strong drafting, attention to detail, and the ability to advise clients throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas license to practice law.
• 3–5 years of substantive real estate experience.
• Direct experience with real estate development and master planned communities.
• Ability to draft complex legal documents with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate plats, development agreements, and entitlement documents.
• Prepare and amend restrictive covenants for various developments.
• Draft and revise governing documents for master planned communities.
• Assist nonprofit and property owners’ associations with formation and governance documents.
• Provide legal guidance to developers throughout development lifecycles.
