Job summary
Roberts Markel Weinberg Butler Hailey PC (RMWBH) in Houston seeks a Texas-licensed attorney with 2-5 years of substantive real estate experience to join its Real Estate Section. The ideal candidate will handle development matters with independence, strong drafting skills, and the ability to advise clients through all lifecycle phases of projects.

Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Texas.
- 3-5 years of substantive, hands-on experience in real estate law.
- Direct experience with real estate development and master planned communities.
- Demonstrated ability to draft complex legal documents with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate plats, development agreements, and related entitlement documents.
- Prepare and amend restrictive covenants for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
- Draft and revise governing documents for master planned communities, including declarations, bylaws, rules, regulations, and policies.
- Form and advise nonprofits and property owners associations, including certificates of formation and governance documents.
- Provide legal guidance to developers throughout all phases of development projects.
