Job summary

Lennar, a leading homebuilder, seeks a Purchasing Estimator to manage material take-offs, cost analysis on plan changes, and coordination with Purchasing and Operations. This role requires residential construction experience and proficiency with Excel and JD Edwards.

You will verify take-offs, review EPO requests, and support framing and other plan changes on active projects. Regular site presence and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of residential construction/architecture experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Proficient with Excel for financial modeling; JD Edwards and Build Pro experience.
• Ability to work under deadlines and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Create material take-offs for existing, new, and revised plans (framing focus).
• Maintain take-offs of all active plans.
• Interact with Purchasing and Operations to verify take-off change requests.
• Interact with architects/engineers on plan changes impacting take-offs.
• Analyze plans for cost analysis recommendations and research costs.
• Assist in reviewing material EPO requests to ensure alignment with take-offs and scopes of work.
• Complete take-offs for special projects and spec changes.
• Field verify actual quantities vs take-offs; perform other duties as assigned.
