Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Purchasing Estimator in Georgia to manage material take-offs, verify design changes, and perform cost analysis on proposed plans. You will collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, and engineering to ensure accurate quantities and cost control.

Ideal candidates have two years in residential construction, strong Excel and JD Edwards skills, and a solid understanding of architectural/MEP design. This onsite role offers growth within Lennar's homebuilding teams.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of residential construction/architecture experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Full understanding of residential construction, architectural, structural, & MEP design required.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; must work with JD Edwards, Build Pro, & other software.

Responsibilities

• Create material take-offs for existing, new, and revised plans.
• Maintain take-offs of all active plans.
• Verify take-off change requests with Purchasing and Operations.
• Interact with architect/engineering consultants on plan changes impacting take-offs.
• Analyze plans for cost analysis and research design costs.
• Review material EPO requests to ensure alignment with take-offs and scopes of work.
• Complete take-offs for special projects and specification changes.
• Field-verify actual quantities vs take-offs.
