Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Purchasing Estimator to manage all aspects of take-offs, verify change requests, and assist in reviewing material EPO requests. The estimator should perform cost analysis on proposed plan changes to support cost management and on-time delivery.

Your responsibilities include creating material take-offs for existing and revised plans (framing focus), maintaining take-offs across active projects, and coordinating with Purchasing, Operations, and architects/engineers to validate

Qualifications

• Two years of residential construction/architecture experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Full understanding of residential construction, architectural, structural, & MEP design.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office; ability to work with JD Edwards, Build Pro, and other proprietary software.
• Detail-oriented with strong writing and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Create material take-offs for existing, new, and revised plans; framing category first.
• Maintain take-offs for all active plans and verify change requests with Purchasing and Operations.
• Interact with architect/engineering consultants on plan changes impacting take-offs.
• Analyze plans for cost analysis recommendations and research proposed design costs.
• Assist in reviewing material EPO requests to ensure alignment with take-offs and scopes of work.
• Complete take-offs for special projects and verify quantities against actuals.
• Perform field verification of quantities vs take-offs and support cost control.
