Golub & Company in Chicago is seeking an Assistant Manager/Coordinator to oversee day-to-day operations of Prairie Shores, a large Chicago portfolio. Responsibilities include leasing support, budgeting, vendor oversight, and resident relations on-site.

The role requires 1–3 years in leasing or property management, a four-year degree, and an Illinois leasing agent license (or ability to obtain). Competitive compensation includes an hourly rate and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years' related experience in leasing or property management.
• Illinois leasing agent license required or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Collect past due rental balances and review delinquencies.
• Enter vendor invoices into accounting software and forward to corporate.
• Support leasing activities, tour prospects, process applications, and prepare leases.
• Coordinate lease renewals and discuss renewal options.
• Respond to resident inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Assist in annual management plan and property budget.
• Prepare leasing reports and financial reporting packages for ownership.
• Oversee property staff and monitor front line management issues.
• Supervise engineering, maintenance, and security operations and conduct inspections.
• Negotiate vendor pricing and administer contracts.
• Coordinate with third-party providers and ensure vendor insurance.
• Assist move-in/move-out and coordinate resident events.
