Job summary

Onni Properties (Chicago) Inc is seeking a Residential Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations and financial goals for a Chicago apartment community. You will supervise a team, coach associates, and ensure accurate accounting, leasing, and resident services.

The role requires 3 years in residential property management, solid English communication, and proficiency with Yardi and MS Office. Competitive pay with strong benefits and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Three years in residential property management with sales and admin responsibility.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English clearly.
• Proficiency with MS Office and property management software (Yardi preferred).
• Ability to handle legal and leasing documents accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and run monthly A/R duties including pre-month end and month end reports.
• Handle A/P processes with PO system and invoicing to Head Office.
• Oversee rent collection, delinquency management, evictions, and notices to pay rent or quit.
• Support leasing staff and assist in leasing duties when needed.
• Plan resident events and ensure an excellent resident experience.
• Prepare reports for office or service team and supervise office organization.
