Job summary

ZRS Management in Houston, TX seeks a Maintenance Technician to deliver skilled, professional service to residents. The role collaborates with the Maintenance Supervisor to keep the property well-maintained and safe.

Responsibilities include plumbing/electrical/HVAC repairs, turnover maintenance within 3–5 days, and preventive maintenance. Must maintain clean work areas, observe safety rules, and be able to lift heavy objects while communicating effectively with residents.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
• EPA certification preferred; if required, must be obtained within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances and other areas as needed.
• Complete turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days including blinds, filters, bulbs, drips pans, caulking, and door stoppers.
• Maintain common areas: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash, pressure washing, windows.
• Monitor exterior for roof, siding, shutters and related issues.
• Support preventive maintenance program in area of responsibility.
• Ensure safe conditions for all equipment and structures.
• Update inventory with new tools and equipment.
• Keep work area clean and orderly; observe safety rules.
