Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform skilled maintenance across a 531-unit property in San Diego. You will handle work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety and quality standards while supporting make-ready processes for new residents.

The role requires 1-2 years of maintenance experience, EPA refrigerant certifications, and familiarity with Yardi and HappyCo. On-call duties and a 9am-6pm schedule apply.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of property maintenance experience.
• Yardi and HappyCo experience preferred.
• EPA Type 1 / II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacant units for leasing by completing pre-move-out inspections and creating punch lists.
• Manages materials, tools, and inventory with proper tracking and reordering when needed.
• Documents service requests accurately to enable tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Attends safety meetings and adheres to OSHA and safety policies.
