Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician 3 to maintain and repair building systems, grounds, and common areas at a San Diego property. The role requires 1–2 years of maintenance experience and may involve on-call duties, with a schedule of Thursday–Monday.

Proficiency with Yardi and HappyCo is preferred; EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certification is required for certified technicians. Greystar offers robust benefits and a comprehensive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of property maintenance experience.
• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification. (Required for certified technicians)

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing.
• Follows procedures to access materials and track inventory.
• Completes documentation for service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting and efficient use of materials and tools.
