Job summary

Brookfield Properties Multifamily LLC in Phoenix is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our apartment communities. You will perform HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical work, and equipment maintenance, ensuring safety and high resident satisfaction.

Team-oriented, reliable, and hands-on candidates are preferred. Responsibilities include proactive repairs, preventive maintenance, and promptly addressing work orders, with weekend shift potential and a commitment to quality service

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Commercial Property or Multi-Unit Residential Property.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-4 years of experience can offset minimum education requirement.
• HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• HVAC repairs, cleaning, and replacements as needed.
• Plumbing repairs, parts replacement, and installations.
• Carpentry tasks: doors, shelves, countertops, locks.
• Painting: drywall repairs and painting.
• Electrical work: lighting, wiring, switches and fixtures.
• Machinery maintenance: chillers, belts, pumps, fans.
• Other duties as assigned.
