Job summary

American Avenue Property Management LLC seeks a Residential Maintenance Technician in Peoria, IL. You’ll handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and turnover tasks for single-family homes, with work orders delivered to your phone and full autonomy on-site.

Qualifications include 3+ years in multi-trade maintenance, proficiency in at least three trades, own vehicle/-tools, and a valid license. A quarterly bonus and comprehensive benefits are part of the package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years multi-trade maintenance experience (apartment, SFR, or trades background).
• Confident in at least 3 of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances.
• Own truck or van + own hand tools (reimbursed + $0.76/mile).
• Valid driver's license; on-call ready; background check.
• EPA 608 Universal is a big plus; experience turning homes at volume.

Responsibilities

• Multi-trade maintenance for single-family rental homes across Peoria — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and turns.
• Receive work orders on your phone and manage turns with autonomy.
• HVAC troubleshooting/repair; plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances.
• Inspections, securing homes, vacancy checks, and move-in/out meetings.
