Job summary

American Avenue Property Management (AA) is seeking a Residential Handyperson/Maintenance Technician (PE) to maintain and improve single-family rental homes across the metro. You will inspect, repair, and perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks while delivering reliable service to residents.

The role requires driving between properties daily, strong problem-solving, and hands-on tech skills. EPA certification is required, and you should own tools and a vehicle.

Qualifications

• Proficient in carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical work.
• Experience with property turns and basic maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Comfort with handheld IOS devices and work orders.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain residential properties.
• Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Travel between properties within the metro daily.
• Conduct inspections and turnovers, ensure secure properties.
• Use handheld devices to document work orders.
• Respond to emergency requests on-call.
