SFR3 LLC in Peoria, IL is expanding its portfolio of affordable single-family homes and seeks a field maintenance technician to service properties across the metro.

You will perform carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work, conduct inspections, manage turnovers, and document conditions with handheld devices. A valid driver's license and customer-focused approach are required; compensation is industry-leading with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Multi-trade proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical work.
• Advanced plumbing and HVAC skills; certifications preferred.
• Customer-focused with clear resident communication.
• Own tools and have a truck or van; valid driver’s license.
• Familiar with building codes, EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Tech-savvy in using handheld devices for work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs (carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Travel daily within the metro to service properties.
• Conduct property inspections, secure homes, and complete turnovers.
• Handle pre-renovation repairs, utility inspections, and basic troubleshooting.
• Manage move-in/out meetings and document property conditions.
• Maintain records using handheld technology and updates.
