Job summary

Penndel Mental Health Center in Langhorne, PA, seeks a Program Supervisor to lead the Levittown aging-in-place residential program, motivate residents, and supervise staff on a Monday–Friday schedule.

You will collaborate with treatment teams, coordinate life-skills activities, document care, and ensure safety and quality in daily operations. The role requires a high school diploma, 1 year mental health experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required plus 1+ year mental health experience.
• Experience supervising staff.
• Knowledge of life skills activities and socialization skills development for individuals with mental illness.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience working with adult women with significant mental illness in a residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides scheduled weekly supervision for staff.
• Facilitates resident monthly meetings.
• Meets with the Director of Residential Services weekly for training and supervision.
• Ensures provision of programmatic activities that enhance life skills.
• Familiarizes self with residents’ history, hospitalization course and treatment plans.
• Completes all necessary documentation and collaborates with other resident supports.
• Communicates effectively by email and uses the EHR.
• Provides on-site crisis intervention and supports residents as needed.
• Collaborates with social service agencies and community resources to meet resident needs.
• Prepares reports, letters, and records as assigned.
