Job summary

Horizon House, Inc. in Langhorne, PA, seeks a full-time Residential Living Specialist to provide care and supervision for residents, supporting recovery plans and daily living skills. The role includes transportation, medication administration, and documentation of progress in the service delivery system.

Qualified candidates will have an A.A. degree or equivalent experience, crisis intervention skills, strong communication, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• A.A. degree or high school diploma with relevant MH/MR experience.
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills required.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with basic needs and assist with daily living skills.
• Transport participants to programs and appointments as needed.
• Administer medications per self-medication plans and maintain inventories.
• Assist in design and implementation of Individual Recovery Plans and document progress.
• Advocate for resident growth toward independence in self-care and daily living.

Education

A.A. degree in social sciences or health care

High school diploma with 2 years MH/MR experience
