Job summary

Caregiver in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Residential Coordinator to oversee day-to-day operations of its homes. This role provides hands-on leadership to DSP teams, helps ensure homes are staffed and stable, and maintains a safe, compliant, and person-centered environment.

You will supervise staff, coordinate routines, manage inventory and transportation, support onboarding and training, and handle documentation, safety drills, and on-call responses to emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• IDD experience preferred (1–2+ years).
• Strong organization and documentation skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision and leadership of DSP staff and daily staffing oversight.
• Support day-to-day operations of homes, including routines and transportation.
• Oversee scheduling of medical and personal appointments and communicate changes to the clinical team.
• Provide direct care coverage during staffing gaps.
• Submit and track maintenance requests and conduct weekly home visit guides.
• Support onboarding and on-the-job training with competency checks.
• Validate daily notes, logs, MARs, data sheets, and timesheets for accuracy.
• Manage clients’ personal funds and maintain compliant supporting documentation.
• Conduct routine life safety drills and ensure fire and safety standards are followed.
• Serve as first-line contact for urgent home-level issues and on-call emergencies.
