Job summary

Caregiver Inc. is seeking a Residential Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of assigned homes and provide hands-on leadership to DSP teams.

You will help ensure homes are staffed, compliant, and person-centered, coordinating household operations and documentation with the clinical team. You will also lead onboarding and training, validate required documentation, manage supplies and transportation, and respond to emergencies per on-call expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education preferred.
• Valid state driver's license.
• IDD experience preferred (recommended: 1–2+ years).
• Strong organization, follow-through, and documentation skills; ability to operate basic office and computer equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision and leadership of DSP I and DSP II staff, including day-to-day oversight of staffing coverage and coaching.
• Support day-to-day operations of assigned home(s), including routines, inventory, menu planning, and transportation coordination.
• Oversee daily care activities, schedule medical/personal appointments, and communicate changes to the clinical team and AD.
• Provide direct care coverage as needed and ensure continuity of supports during staffing gaps.
• Submit and track maintenance requests; complete weekly home visit guides and audits.
• Support onboarding/on-the-job training; ensure training checklists and competency steps are completed and returned.
• Validate documentation (daily notes, MARs, data sheets, vehicle logs, timesheets) is accurate and submitted on time.
• Manage clients' use of personal funds and maintain compliant documentation.
• Conduct routine home safety drills and ensure life safety standards are followed.
• Serve as first-line contact for urgent home-level issues and respond to emergencies when assigned.
• Support quality improvement efforts and ensure standards of care are met.
