Job summary

The Guild for Human Services in Melrose is seeking a Residence Manager for Melrose House to supervise staff, manage daily operations, and ensure high-quality residential supports. You will collaborate with nursing, pharmacy, and day programs to deliver person-centered services and maintain compliance with DDS policies.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and strong English communication are required, plus MAP certification or ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong oral and written communication in English.
• Residential management experience preferred.
• MAP certification or ability to pass MAP within 90 days.
• Reliable transportation across MA locations.

Responsibilities

• Directly schedule, monitor, supervise, and evaluate staff within residence.
• Participate in hiring, interviewing and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure enriched quality of life for residents in the home.
• Maintain up-to-date residential data collection and logs.
• Oversee day-to-day home upkeep and repairs.
• Monitor expenditures for household needs and activities.
• Coordinate medications and MAP compliance with nursing/pharmacy.
• Develop ISP components and ensure timely ISP objectives.
• Monitor resident progress and update data sheets as needed.
• Coordinate staff communication across shifts and with families.
