The role oversees the development and success of the Residential program, ensuring service quality, regulatory compliance and financial viability. Responsibilities include supervising staff, supporting budget development, implementing improvements, and representing the program in the community.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of the developmental disabilities system in Colorado.
• Knowledge of host homes rules and Health Department regulations.
• Demonstrated skill in working with adults with developmental disabilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with individuals and groups at all levels.
• Effective negotiator and problem solver.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks for self and others.
• Ability to work with various technology including word processing software and databases.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and driving requirements.
• Regular use of a mobile device or smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Oversees administration, planning, and success of community-based residential services.
• Maintains compliance with federal/state regulations and organizational policies.
• Supports budget development and implements action plans for variances.
• Addresses service delivery issues and leads quality improvement initiatives.
• Represents the Residential program in the community and stakeholder meetings.
• Responds to emergencies on a 24-hour basis with case managers and site supervisors.
• Ensures data integrity in electronic health records and system data.
• Supervises residential staff including hiring, training, and performance management.
