Job summary

Sunrise Community, Inc. is seeking compassionate staff to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community settings. You will supervise teams, provide training, and help people live valued lives through structured activities and personal care.

The role requires completing pre-employment screenings, a valid driver's license, basic computer skills, and a high school diploma. You will collaborate with a team to implement plans and document care in English.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Driver's License with endorsements and have driving experience.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Preferred: at least one year in human services and supervisory experience.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and reports any suspected abuse or violations of an individual’s rights.
• Ensures health, safety and well-being of individuals at all times.
• Supervises and trains a team to support individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Provides training, feedback, and mentoring to staff.
• Implements therapy and behavior programs and collects data.
• Maintains a positive, person-directed home environment with creative activities.
• Ensures compliance with agency directives and regulatory standards.
• Maintains and organizes homes, outside areas, and vehicles.
• Communicates effectively in English regarding medical care, supports, and services.
