Communitas, Inc. in Wakefield, MA, is seeking a Residential Program Coordinator to oversee three group homes, ensure staffing, supervision, and smooth program operations within the cluster.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (3 years with adults with developmental disabilities, including supervisory experience) and a valid driver’s license. The position is salaried at 74,880 USD per year with 40 hours weekly and 24/7 on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, Human Services or related field preferred; with 3 years’ experience working with adults with developmental disabilities, including 2 years supervisory experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program operations of three group homes; conduct cluster meetings with Directors & Assistant Directors.
• Source, screen, interview and hire candidates; supervise staff with regular performance evaluations and payroll approvals.
• Conduct regular audits of program systems and ensure day-to-day home operations run smoothly.
• Train new Program Directors in daily operational tasks and administrative duties.
• Assist in preparation and participation in Surveys & Certification.
