Job summary

Rise Services, Inc. seeks an Assistant Director for Mohave County District, Kingman, AZ to lead and support Direct Support Professional staff and the people we serve.

You will recruit, hire, train, coach, and manage DSP performance while ensuring compliance with DES/DDD licensing and internal policies. You will foster a learning organization, maintain records, attend trainings, and oversee payroll and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or two years of supervisory experience in managing complex programs, or four years of experience with two years of supervision.
• Preferred knowledge of Arizona DES/DDD requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; telephone etiquette.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel within the local area and across the state.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Direct Support Professional staff and the people we serve.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and manage DSP staff performance.
• Ensure compliance with DES/DDD licensing and internal policies.
• Foster a learning organization and continuous improvement.
• Maintain records and documentation for planning teams and state agencies.
• Attend staff meetings and mandatory trainings; schedule regular meetings.
• Oversee payroll summaries and ensure timely processing.
• Demonstrate competency in budgeting and financial oversight.
• Provide daily living supports, assist with medications and medical issues when indicated, and support community access.
• Maintain clean, safe environments and frequent interaction with people receiving supports.
