Job summary

Devereux/TCV Community Services is seeking a Program Supervisor for our new STAIRS program, a residential treatment program for youth with autism and developmental disabilities. This role involves supervising residents and staff, ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment, and coordinating with families and external agencies in Homestead, PA.

You will lead daily operations, manage budgets, provide crisis intervention, and mentor new staff while maintaining compliance with licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field with 2 years direct care experience.
• Alternatively, 60 college credits with 3 years direct care experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise direct care staff with task assignments and feedback.
• Oversee daily residential operations and staff coverage.
• Assist with program planning, QA, and family/external agency communication.
• Manage program budgets for efficiency and best practices.
• Provide crisis prevention and intervention using approved protocols.
• Coach staff on crisis response and safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with policies and licensing standards.
• Monitor resident behavior and health changes to the team.
• Document treatment services, incidents, and safety interventions.
• Mentor and orient new staff; guide policies and procedures.
• Conduct timely performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Delegate tasks and foster accountability.
• Maintain up-to-date training and pursue professional development.
