CN Guidance and Counseling Services, Inc. in Hauppauge, NY seeks a Supervising Residential Program Leader to oversee housing programs for individuals with psychiatric disabilities.

You will ensure services meet policies, supervise staff, manage scheduling, and coordinate Medicaid billing and documentation. The role requires an associate degree (bachelor’s preferred) in human services and at least two years in a residential setting, with strong leadership, compliance, and crisis-management

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in a residential program.
• Associate or bachelor degree in human services preferred.
• Experience supervising staff and ensuring program compliance with policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise all aspects of the residential program and ensure services are delivered.
• Ensure adherence to all regulations, protocols, and policies.
• Recruit, hire, train and evaluate residential staff, with supervision by Program Manager.
• Provide weekly supervision to full-time staff and monthly supervision to part-time staff.
• Develop staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage; update schedules as needed.
• Ensure residents receive appropriate restorative/rehabilitative services and document them.
• Review Medicaid billing and ensure timely submission of monthly reports.
• Oversee Medicaid billing activities and ensure documentation is compliant.
• Monitor medication procedures and logs, and act in the absence of a Senior Counselor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, homelike environment in collaboration with facilities.
• Promote resident dignity and participation in service plans; facilitate house meetings.
• Conduct intakes for potential residents with admissions committee.
• Review time-off requests, timesheets, and travel expenses within 48 hours.
• Oversee program finances, client distributions, petty cash, and budgeting.
