Job summary

Qualifications

• At least three years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, experience in counseling, guidance, teaching, or therapeutic services for individuals with developmental disabilities and/or chronic mental illness, with at least one year in a supervisory capacity.
• Substitutions: a Bachelor's degree may substitute for two years of nonsupervisory experience.
• Master’s or higher degree in relevant field may substitute for additional year of nonsupervisory experience (two years of education = one year of experience).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, implement, and supervise administrative and clinical operations of homes, including program development and policy compliance.
• Supervise and evaluate support staff and manage staffing levels.
• Ensure a safe home by monitoring day-to-day resident activities.
• Assess individuals' needs and develop therapeutic programs for community living skills.
• Participate in ISP implementation and maintain data collection/records.
• Monitor operation, maintenance, and resident budgeting; manage funds and liaise to ensure effective communication.
