Job summary

Toomey Residential and Community Services operates a women’s residential program, providing supportive services to individuals with developmental disabilities. The Program Supervisor ensures smooth residence operations, models constructive behavior, and guides Direct Support Professionals in daily activities and relationships within a group home setting.

You will assist in creating daily and behavioral plans, ensuring staff follow care plans, and maintaining a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old with a valid NYS driver’s license and 5 points or less.
• HS diploma or GED required with 3 years relevant experience.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• OPWDD fingerprinting clearance required.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities or in human services/healthcare preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient operation of a residence and provide positive role modeling to individuals receiving services.
• Provide support and supervision to Direct Support Professionals.
• Assist in development of day, residential, activity and behavioral habilitation plans.
• Ensure staff follow care plans and promote a safe, positive environment.
