Job summary

Catholic Charities of Onondaga County - Toomey is seeking a Program Supervisor for our Toomey Residential and Community Services. You will oversee a residence serving adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, ensuring daily goals are met and care plans are followed.

The role provides supervision to Direct Support Professionals, supports habilitation plan development, and promotes a safe, respectful environment. Hours include Wednesday 12p-10p, Thursday-Friday 2p-10p, Saturday 8a-10p.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid NYS driver's license with 4 points or less.
• Use of personal vehicle required.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• NY background checks required.

Responsibilities

• The Program Supervisor ensures the efficient operation of a residence and provides positive role modeling to individuals receiving services to achieve daily goals and objectives.
• Provides support and supervision to Direct Support Professionals in their work and relationships with individuals living in a group home setting.
• Assists in the development of day, residential, activity and behavioral habilitation plans.
• Insures staff are informed of and following care plans and promote a safe, positive environment.

Responsibilities

The Program Supervisor ensures the efficient operation of a residence, and provides positive role modeling to its individuals receiving services to achieve daily goals and objectives. The Program Supervisor also provides support and supervision to Direct Support Professionals in their work and relationships with individuals living in a group home setting. This is a residential program working with men with developmental disabilities.
