Job summary

SCO Family of Services in New York State seeks a Residence Manager to oversee the residence, ensuring the well-being, dignity, and personal development of the people supported while maintaining compliance with OPWDD regulations and agency standards.

You will supervise DSPs, coordinate with clinical teams, and ensure documentation, training, safety, and budget adherence. Be the on-site leader in the absence of the manager to ensure continuity of operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree in human services preferred.
• Valid and clean NYS Driver’s License required.
• Experience with developmental disabilities or traumatic brain injuries preferred.
• Knowledge of OPWDD regulations and Justice Center requirements.
• Must obtain AMAP, CPR, First Aid, and SCIP-R certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee residence operations to promote well-being, dignity, and development.
• Supervise DSPs, conduct on-floor observations, and provide feedback.
• Maintain documentation including plans, incident reports, and evaluations.
• Coordinate scheduling, training, and performance reviews for staff.
• Engage in program planning and clinical team meetings to monitor progress.
• Serve as Residence Manager in the absence of the primary manager.
