Job summary

SCO Family of Service seeks a Residence Supervisor to oversee shift operations, ensure all treatment plans are followed, and support staff on site in Bronx, NY. The role requires awareness of OPWDD regulations and strong communication with teams and families.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, monitoring health and safety, coordinating meals and activities, and ensuring accurate documentation. The position is full-time with on-site work and independent crisis management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associates/bachelor’s preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of OPWDD regulations
• Good management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities
• Must have a valid New York state driving license.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to staff during shifts, including assigning responsibilities and adjusting duties as needed.
• Ensure program operates in accordance with regulations and agency policy.
• Ensure individuals’ treatment plans are followed and provide direct support as needed.
• Monitor individuals’ health and safety during shifts; document observations.
• Ensure diet and nutrition are followed and documented; manage menu plans and weight records.
• Ensure community integration and recreation activities are completed and documented; notify Residence Manager of changes.
• Complete all documentation per regulations and agency procedures; follow prescribed reporting procedures.
• Maintain incident management procedures and documentation within required timeframes.
• Follow daily schedules and routines; support staff during crises and training on treatment plans.
• Model calm, professional interactions with individuals, staff, families, and community members.
• Participate in staff and individuals’ meetings; perform any other duties requested by Residence Manager.
