Job summary

Sunrise Community, Inc. is seeking compassionate Direct Care professionals to support individuals with developmental disabilities in a community setting. You will supervise and train staff, ensure safety and rights protection, and implement therapy programs as outlined in individual plans.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License with all necessary endorsements and have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience working in the human service field preferred.
• At least one year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and reports suspected abuse or violations of an individual’s rights.
• Ensures health, safety and well-being of individuals.
• Supervises and maintains a trained team providing support and oversight.
• Provides training and feedback to employees.
• Implements therapy, training and behavior programs per plans and regulations.
• Ensures a positive, person-directed environment with creative activities.
