Job summary

The Providence Center Inc in Providence, RI seeks a Manager Residential Nashua Street Supported Apartments to oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality care, and lead staff across six programs. This role coordinates treatment planning, regulatory compliance, and crisis response to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of mental health experience with supervisory background, plus driving and EMR documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years experience with people with chronic mental health illness.
• At least 2 years supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• Knowledge of psychosocial rehabilitation and case management.
• Strong program development skills.
• Ability to document in electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and programming of the group residence and ensure high standards of care.
• Supervise residential staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision; cover overnight supervision.
• Provide leadership on programming, risk management, and day-to-day operations.
• Develop and implement recreational, therapeutic, and operational programming initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
