Job summary

The Arc Ontario in Ontario County, NY is seeking a Residential Program Manager to lead residential programs, ensure compliance, and provide person-centered supports in a safe, welcoming home. You will supervise staff, oversee service planning, admissions, finances, and facility operations, coordinating with nursing and transportation to promote wellbeing and rights of residents.

This role requires a Bachelor's in Human Services and 3+ years with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's Degree in Human Services Field with 3+ years relevant experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience conducting assessments and participating in service planning for developmentally disabled or related populations.
• Valid NYS Driver's License with no moving violations in the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, orients, trains, schedules, supervises and evaluates designated program staff; attends monthly staff meetings as needed.
• Manages resident resources and fees to ensure accurate accounting of resident finances.
• Ensures individualized services are provided and records maintained via regular site record reviews.
• Coordinates with Residential Nursing and Residence Manager to ensure medical procedures are followed and Medication Certification is kept current.

Position Overview: The Residential Program Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, operation, and regulatory compliance of assigned residential programs, ensuring individuals with developmental disabilities receive high quality, person centered supports in a safe, healthy, and welcoming home environment. This role oversees staff supervision, training, scheduling, service planning, resident admissions, financial and administrative functions, facility maintenance, audits, fire safety compliance, and on call support, while collaborating with nursing, transportation, and other agency teams to promote the well being, independence, and rights of the individuals served. The Residential Program Manager serves as a key leader in fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and compassion while advancing The Arc Ontario's mission, vision, and values. Requirements

• - Bachelor's Degree in Human Services Field and over three (3) years relevant experience including one (1) year performing or participating in assessments and service planning for developmentally disabled or other related population, and one (1) year of supervisory experience, or an equivalent amount of education and/or experience.
• - Valid NYS Driver's License with no moving violations 12 months prior to date of hire.
