Job summary

Mary Cariola Center in Rush, NY is seeking a Residential Program Supervisor to help interview and hire direct care staff, supervise staff, and ensure adherence to agency policies. You will coordinate weekly staff schedules, provide health and resident care, and maintain comprehensive documentation for each resident.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to support residents and families, coordinate trainings, and ensure safety and program quality across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years working with people with developmental disabilities.
• At least 2 of the 3 years must be in an OPWDD certified program.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English with safety/policy documents.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interviewing and hiring all direct care staff and other positions as directed.
• Implement agency policies and procedures and suggest improvements.
• Provide supervision of direct care staff using the Interactional Supervison Model.
• Ensure staff orientations, trainings, and resident-specific trainings are completed.
• Maintain staff schedule and monitor overtime to minimize hours.
• Communicate important information about residents, staff, building, and community interactions.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment meetings and collaborate with families.
• Maintain documentation practices and use PrecisionCare software.
