Job summary

Mary Cariola Center in Webster, NY is seeking a Shift Manager to lead DSP teams, coordinate daily schedules, and ensure resident safety and well-being. You will oversee shift assignments, track documentation, and respond to emergencies with the Residence Manager.

This role requires an associate degree and 2+ years of related experience, strong English communication, and a NYS driver's license. Training in SCIP-r and CPR/First Aid is provided.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must possess a current NYS driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Promote a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Facilitate pre-shift huddle and assign shift responsibilities.
• Monitor weekly DSP staff schedules and ensure coverage.
• Oversee shift activities and oversee documentation and logs.
• Handle emergency communications and coordinate with Residence Manager.
• Provide performance feedback and conduct weekly staff meetings.
• Lead meetings with residents and document outcomes.
• Assist in transportation and activities for residents.
