Job summary

Work Unlimited seeks a Residential Program Specialist III (Lead Staff) to mentor and guide a 24-hour residential home team, fostering independence and engagement for residents. You will balance direct care duties with office work and on-call support, aiming to elevate care quality and resident outcomes.

In collaboration with the Program Manager, you will lead a team, model professional conduct, train staff, plan household operations, and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Education).
• At least 3 months of direct support or supervisory experience.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to type without looking at the keyboard.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate calm, non-reactive demeanor in crisis situations.
• Mentor, train, and support staff with management.
• Plan weekly menus and manage supplies and medications.
• Review financial logs and budgeting tasks.
• Submit monthly safety walk-throughs and maintenance requests.
• Respond to on-call calls within 15 minutes and arrange coverage.
