Work Unlimited is seeking a dedicated Residential Program Specialist III (Lead Staff) to mentor the care team and support residents in a 24‑hour residential setting. You will lead and model exemplary care, participate in on‑call coverage, and help create opportunities for independence and community integration.

The role emphasizes leadership, crisis‑calm, staff development, and ensuring high standards of service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 months of direct support or supervisory experience.
• Basic computer literacy; ability to type without looking.
• Must pass DHS background check.
• Must be a licensed driver with Over 21 years of age, 5 years driving experience, and no more than 3 infractions in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to residential staff.
• Plan weekly menus and manage groceries and medication supplies.
• Oversee budgeting, banking, receipts, and cash ledgers.
• Coordinate routine medical, dental, eye, mental health, and specialist visits.
• Respond to on‑call emergencies within 15 minutes and arrange coverage.
• Maintain safety and regulatory documentation and follow up on issues.
